Abhu Dhabi Investment Authority: Abhu Dhabi, Aberdeen, San Francisco USA. Knowlx brought in to re design the Financial Chart of Accounts and implement Oracle Applications, GL, AP, AR, COGS,PROJECTS and HR. Our consultants constructed an ETL feed supporting an Active Data Warehouse using ODI and Informatica to populate an OBIEE Semantic Reporting layer making the entire Oracle Applications platform available for BI EPM Reporting and OBIEE 11 Analytics. Thompson Reuters, London, Toronto Canada: Knowlx consultants were engaged to advise IBM and the Reuters Global divisions on the future integration of their Legacy Java applications into a new ETL framework. Knowlx implemented the Websphere Datastage product set hosted on a Linux Redhat platform. Knowlx set up the ETL control environment and implemented an Oracle ETL Audit control Database to monitor the ETL stream while populating the Target Dimensional Data Warehouse. Our new design framework delivered remote monitoring via dashboards, restart ability and distant web portal control of the Datastage /JAVA ETL Enterprise Framework. The project was completed on schedule, Knowlx consultants were congratulated for the quality of the design which was later scaled up to support the company’s global ETL feeds for Euroclear, CEDEL and Bloomberg real time market source data.
Autogrille, London, Italy: is an Italian holding company recently involved in the purchase of BAA’s duty free airport international holdings. As a condition the acquisition it was necessary for Deloittes to conduct an intensive audit of the company’s databases going back over the previous seven years. Knowlx consultancy created a new semantic reporting and query layer populated by ETL streams against the company’s retail databases. To cope with the complexities of the audit drill down requirements Knowlx consultants constructed analytical Oracle queries to populate the semantic reporting level. This involved the creation of an MDM central resource and design of an SOA BI reporting and analytical layer. Knowlx resources worked with Deloittes and Autogrille to populate the audit reporting database. Knowlx was congratulated by both Deloittes and Autogrille for successfully completing the project within schedule allowing the corporate acquisition to go ahead.
